Months ago, someone told me that they found a substantial section on anime in a guide to teaching autistic children. Of all places, I wondered, why there? As it turns out, many autistic children like anime because the facial expressions and gestures are easy to understand. For people with autism, who normally have immense trouble reading the emotions of others, anime characters are a way for them to participate in a social arena that the rest of us hardly think about. – 2-D Teleidoscope

I want to do something new with my new year of blogging. It’s been a whole year since I’ve started blogging seriously and I’m tired of being stuck in the same box all the time of having to review just anime, manga and J-RPGs. I’m not quitting those things, it’s just that there’s a whole lot more going on in my life that I’m interested in that I could be talking about as well.
